The LivingHome, Santa Monica I serves as an active single-family residence and a model home for a line of sustainable, modern, modular LivingHomes. The First LivingHome, designed by Ray Kappe, was the first in the nation to achieve LEED for Homes Platinum and was the only home to win the AIA’s top sustainability award in 2007. The 2480 square foot, four-bedroom house is constructed of factory built modules that were installed on-site in 8.5 hours.
